Safaricom SME Job Description

  • Development of plans to achieve set billed revenue targets in the territory.
  • Increase product and Business solutions penetration through cross sell to named accounts, in assigned territory.
  • Grow payment solutions by acquiring new customers onto LNM.
  • Acquire new customers on key SME products namely FFB, Easy 30/50 and Zidisha.
  • Ensure revenue growth by growing ARPA in the accounts through up sell.
  • Achieve the set NPS targets for the Accounts in the territory.
  • Ensure achievement of set churn targets for assigned accounts.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers to maintain ongoing revenue stream.
  • Demonstrate ability to implement processes and handle cross functional issues from end to end.


  • Ensure all accounts are managed through well thought out Account Development Plans.
  • Knowledge of Safaricom processes especially the change management process.
  • Demonstrate ability to handle governance issues, bring people to task.
  • Demonstrate ability to schedule activities, identify resource needs, dependencies and synergies.
